Former Robot in Disguise Sue Denim releases her debut solo album today, And The Unicorn. The album has been put out by Sue’s own label, Superhealthy, and was recorded in Wales with award-winning producer/mixer David Wrench.

Taking a very different approach to the hard electro style Denim fans would associate with Robots In Disguise, a more acoustic and natural sound flows through And The Unicorn to create an album of uplifting natural pop. The 10-track record is simple and honest, with abstract lyrics that paint pictures of dreamy landscapes and childhood memories. Utilizing guitar, piano, and a combination of unique sound effects and field recordings ranging from seagull cries to raindrops, listeners are sure to gain a fascinating view of the world from Sue’s perspective.

And The Unicorn opens with joyous first single Bicycle and takes several emotional twists and turns before finishing with piano ballad The Plan, in doing so covering a variety of musical styles and unique touches that are sure to please.
