Sash! is a German DJ/producer team that has sold over 18 million albums worldwide and received more than 65 gold and platinum awards. Our German subsidiary, AME Musikverlag Ed. Kassner GmbH, achieved a coup with the acquisition of the team’s back catalogue in 2008, which includes the worldwide smash hits Encore Une Fois, Ecuador ECUADOR by THOMAS ALISSON,RALF KAPPMEIER,SASCHA LAPPESSEN| and Stay. Platinum Sales

Sash! is writing trio Sascha Lappessen, Thomas Lüdke and Ralf Kappmeier. The three began collaborating in the early ‘90s and started to record their songs as Sash! in 1995. In 1997 they exploded on to the international dance music scene with the song Encore Une Fois and the album from which it was taken, It’s My Life, achieved platinum status in the UK. Proving that their music has enduring appeal, the team’s second album, Life Goes On, had a similar impact one year later as it was awarded gold status in the UK and subsequent releases have continued to yield hits. Sash! retain a devoted fanbase across the world and this helped to push their greatest hits collection Sash! The Best Of to gold status following its release in 2008.

International Chart Success

The songs of Sash! have experienced huge international acclaim, achieving success in a diversity of countries including Russia, Japan, Australia and South Africa as well as most of western Europe. The team has shown an extraordinary ability to write in a number of languages and have achieved the unique feat of charting in the UK in no less than four (English, Spanish, French and Italian). The team’s prodigious work rate shows no sign of being slowed and their collaboration with Stunt in 2008 produced yet another top ten hit in the form of Raindrops (Encore Une Fois Part II).
